Underground fences for pets have become popular to pet owners. Underground fences or hidden fences are not actually a fence. It is a term used for a radio-signaled device used by pet owners as a containment system. Depending on the type of system, this device operates with the use of wire, installed underground or above ground that transmits a radio signal that a wire, acting as an antenna, turns into an electromagnetic wave and transmit a radio signals to a receiver collar worn by the dog.
